Syrian war : Is Obama avoiding Letters from Aleppo?

The past few days has rendered Aleppo to a greater debris, Doctors running out of equipments has consistently bombarded the white house with letters, but it seems the white house is taking a great deal of time to respond. Thousands of people are killed in daily basis as the war within continue to rage.
according to Independent UK
One of the few remaining doctors in Aleppo has started a petition calling on President Obama and Chancellor Merkel to help end the bombing of civilians, schools and hospitals in the city.
Doctor Hamza Al Khatib has previously written to Obama and chancellor Merkel calling on them to use their influence to help civilians and doctors in Aleppo.
"But their response is the same as it has been for the past five years," Dr Khatib says in his petition, "from Merkel we heard silence and from the White House our letter was met with yet another tepid condemnation - but no talk of action.
The long started trouble in the middle east may have not been planned to linger this much. The Arab spring may have not really gone down in Syria in the regime of Bashaar Asaad who seems the center piece of the war.
One the most buoyant commercial city of Syria, Aleppo has been reduced to debris, in a juxtaposed war between the Govt, the people, rebels militia, and America and Russia.
