Bomb Blast hits Maiduguri

The BBC is reporting that a car bomb has exploded at car park in Nigeria’s north-eastern city of Maiduguri.

Details are sketchy but several people are said to have been affected by the blast in Muna park. 

The city is the birthplace of militant Islamist group Boko Haram, and the headquarters of the military operation against it.
