SAD: Lorreta Enwere electrocuted one month to her wedding

For Lorreta Enwere, her wedding planned for next month will no longer go ahead as the 35 year-old lady was electrocuted at her fiance’s home on Ajoke Kazeem Street in the Idimu area of Lagos State on Saturday

A resident who did not want to be named because he is not authorized to speak to the press about the incident said the victim died when her fiance of 4 years, Segun Tolani, chose to fix an electrical fault, which affected power supply to their apartment by himself instead of payment an electrician N2500 to fix the issue.

Lorreta was reportedly called in by her fiance to help him hold the ladder. She held the ladder with one hand and supported herself by holding an iron pole with her other hand. While the repair effort was going on, a cable slipped off Segun's hand, landed on the pole and electrocuted her.

She was rushed to Igando General Hospital, where she was declared dead.
