PMB Returns

President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has returned home after a long vacation in the United Kingdom that lasted forty-nine days.

President BUHARI's plane touched down at the Air Force Base Mando in Kaduna State at about 7:40am, and he was thereafter flown in a helicopter to Abuja.

You will recall that pPresident BUHARI left Abuja for London after transmitting a letter to the Nigerian Senate on 19th of January about his decision to take ten days vacation as part of his annual leave.

President BUHARI also informed the Senate that during his absence, Vice President YEMI OSINBAJO would take charge as Acting President, pending his return.

But even before the ten days would elapse, rumours spread about the health condition of the President, which was severally denied by his close aids, but eventually his return was delayed indefinitely.
